I know how exhausting it is to feel like you’re always on edge—waiting for another call from the school, another email about your child’s behaviour, another meeting that leaves you confused, frustrated, and a little defeated.
As a teacher, I’ve watched so many parents try to navigate the system alone, without clear answers, clear language, or anyone truly in their corner. And that’s not okay.
You shouldn't need a background in education to understand how to get help for your child. You shouldn’t be made to feel like you’re the problem just for asking questions. You shouldn’t have to guess your way through a system that affects your child’s future.
I created this guide because I’ve seen what happens when parents are empowered—they speak up, get results, and completely change their child’s experience at school.
You can advocate for your child. You can be heard. And no, you don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to start. And I’ll be right here, cheering you on every step of the way.
